didnt work out yesterday, too wiped out

workout this morning,

20min pell

jumped rope 5min (1 min intervals)

lifted wieghts (focused on biceps, cant make them hurt) any suggestions?!

wii active, day 4 f---in jumping lunges almost killed me.

wighed myself today, on the wii fit and it says ive lost 6 lbs! woohoo!

the only part of my body that doesnt hurt are my biceps. So iworked them extra hard tonight with slow sets of free wieghts, they burned when i was done so i hope i got 'em!

not too bad today, spent most of the day with a massive headache, but after i went home and napped for 1-1/2 hours i felt better. still managed to workout

pell work 20min, worked on minimal movement, left hand, breathing and shield placement when throwing, also some different angle shots my knight and i talked about. ive recently discovered while doin sean's drill on the pell how to get those "c" range shots in without closing quickly just by manipulating where my body wieght is. Also ive found that (and i might be wrong here) but i see the drill almost as using the hip movement to "flick" the sword off of my shoulder and then throw the blow, using arm for extension, and hand for targeting, my shots are much faster and harder to pick up on tells. so in theory, if i keep practicing throwing this way, when im fighting it should come naturally, instead of comin outta kansas, and john henrying the shot in. making my shots faster and less obvious.

ahhhh theory. anyways.....

wii active tried to kill me yesterday, fortunatley today is a rest day. (so sore it hurts to blink)
food today wasnt too bad, although i will say i was gonnna buy some fried food today but decided that i wanted my armour more so hooray for me.
i ate 4 small meals, + dinner. dinner was too big of a serving, but the rest of the day was perfect. need to work on having a small dinner then after fruit salad or somethin yummy yet not bad for me.

did good today,

4 small meals
+ dinner of 2 fajitas, too much and it had cheese and sour cream but very satisfying.
lifted wieghts (upper body, hit the pell (20min, minimal movement, breathing, shield position, flow)
did wii active day 2 sommofabitch was hard.
and then light cardio for 20 min
i forgot to post my wieght last time of 275, as soon as i get misty's help ill post my chest. in order to get to the lorica i need to be at least 48" preferred 44". im givin myself 3 months to do this, so my plan is along the lines of body for life program (eat right and workout, but dont starve)
i must say while i was workin out i started to think about the oh so pretty armour and started workin out harder, so heres hoping thats a good goal.

so ive discouvered that i dont have enough time to build all of my kit and look roamn. so im gonna buy it. problem is lorica only comes in a 48" chest. since mine is bigger than that. im gonna have to lose some wieght. So here's the deal. im gonna lose enough wieght to comfortably fit into the beautiful suits ive seen online, and then i will buy one. kinda ironic having to lose wieght in order to fit into a romans armour. I kinda liked looking like the fat guys from asterix and obelix. im gonna call it my cookie to lose the wieght. so here we go again with the workout program. day 1 is good! worked out, ate right....mostly.

forgot to mention i worked out thursday, friday and sunday

wii active 30min, wii swordfighting 30 min (1400 pts), and pell work, cardio drills

also forgot to take before and after photos of the work we did in vancouver. ah well next time

so thursday at work i found that the only other journeyman mechanic at my work got into a head on car crash and is badly hurt and probably wont be coming back to work. ever.

this means that basically i will be responsible for about 6000 machines. woo. this goes right back to my work not raing the starting wage to a level where any self respecting journeyman would start at. they dont seem to realise that by increasing the wage we could get some help and not have to pay outside contractors to do the jobs. so im stuck by my we lonesome at work, trying not to get stressed out while everybody is calling me wanting something.

aaaaaand ont he plus side lilly was sick on friday so i couldnt go into work, leaving them with nobody. yaaay!

oh well, went to the inlaws this weekend and helped them with house progects. It was pretty cool. i got to help them out, do a job that i like to do, and then walk away when we were done. nice. I am very excited to have people comin to our house this weekend (everyones invited!) to help do the same thing. I had such a good time at their house this weekend that im thinking if we alternate months going to each others houses we could get alot done. feel a little guilty cause the work i did wasnt as "pretty" as i would have liked, but i didnt have time to make everything perfect. but its going to be under the subfloor and none will ever see it. The nice thing about copper soldering is that once its in and doesnt leak, it never will.

today we busted our buts getting the stuff and everything prepared for our guests and i must say we got alot done. the goats are comin tomorrow to start on the blackberries and hopefully by friday they will have put a dent in the bushes so we can get the roots out

so last week workinout was a wash do to the heatm but heres the last couple of days


saturday - 274lbs

wii active workout cardio/strength training, lower body - 20min

pell - focused on not watching where my sword is hitting but "knowing" where i am hitting
also left handed drills. and a speed drill focusing on breathing. -15min
cardio on eliptical - 30min - killed my xbox, had to send it in for repairs bummer

sunday
wii active cardio, upper & lower body training - 20min
cardio on elipitcal - 30 min beat "giest" game while doing so whoo hoo

played wii resort for about 30min swordfighting - yay!!!!

pell. jumped rump till i was tired then hit the pell as fast as i could. did this three times. man that was hard.

monday - rest

today
wii swordfighting (harder than you think) - 30min
wii active cardio and upper body workout
pell - left handed drills and speed drill while breathing - 15min - trying to use minimal movement with enough power - this one always amazes me that i dont have to come outta kansas to hit hard.

gonna wiegh myself every friday and post it, in an attempt to be inspired to lose wieght...

misty and i are in the market for a new camcorder. we would like a "hard drive" camera, so we dont need film of anykind. we want it to be able to pick up the speed of fighting, and we would like it to be able to plug in to the computer and put it online easily. all this while knowing we are not very computer savy and only want to spend about $300.

any suggestions?

30 min of pell work focusing on left hand, and breathing (i hold my breath) while i hit. did sean's drill with my left hand.

tuesday: 30 min of xtraining

30 min of pell work, focusing on breathing, movement, and not throwing "combos". did seans drill with my left hand.

gonna go to practice tonight, focusing on, breathing, keeping my shield in front of me, controlling power, not throwing combination shots with the big final shot.

after not fighting for two months, i seemed to have lost alot more ground than i thought. oh well, back "atter"
